How to report
If you believe content or activity hosted by CONFLUXUS LTD is unlawful or breaches our Acceptable Use Policy, email abuse@confluxus.co.uk.
This address is monitored. Anyone may use it — you do not need to be a client.
What to include
The more precise your report, the faster we can act:
- The exact URL or IP address. A domain name on its own is often not enough to locate the content.
- What is wrong with it, in your own words.
- When you saw it.
- Evidence where you have it — a screenshot, email headers, or a log extract.
- Your contact details, so we can come back to you.
- For intellectual property complaints, confirmation that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them.
How quickly we respond
We aim to acknowledge every report within one working day, and to resolve or escalate within five working days — sooner where there is an active threat.
Where content is clearly unlawful or presents an immediate risk, we act first and investigate afterwards. Where a complaint is contested, we pass it to the client with a deadline to respond, and take the narrowest step that resolves the problem.
Urgent reports
Put URGENT in the subject line for anything involving an immediate risk to a person’s safety, a live phishing page, or malware being actively distributed. These are handled ahead of everything else.
Child sexual abuse material
Report it to us and also to the Internet Watch Foundation, who can act across all UK providers.
We remove such material immediately on becoming aware of it, preserve evidence, suspend the account and report it to law enforcement. There is no notice period and no appeal before removal.
Law enforcement
Requests from police, courts or regulators should be sent to abuse@confluxus.co.uk marked for the attention of a director. Please state the legal power you are relying on. We do not disclose customer data on an informal request, except where there is a threat to life.
If the content is not ours
We can only act on content on infrastructure we provide. If it turns out not to be ours we will tell you, and where we can identify the right provider we will say who it is.
